Flight Information

All flights are subject to weather conditions. Your safety is our first priority. If in the unlikely event of foul weather or windy conditions your flight will be rescheduled or refunded. Please call us the day before to confirm that the weather conditions will be favorable for your flight.
We will try to accommodate your next available times if a cancellation is necessary.

Your entire Ballooning Adventure will last approximately 3-4 hours. This includes inflation, flight and champagne brunch. Ballooning is a participation sport. We encourage you to join in on the inflation and pack-up. Just ask your Pilot or Crew Chief what you can do and they will be happy to show you. Your safety is our number one concern so certain duties are limited to our experienced staff.
Wine may be substituted for champagne if you prefer. Non-alcoholic drinks are also available upon request.
If you have any special requests we will do all we can to accommodate.
Our goal is to give you the safest most memorable flight of your life.

Medical Conditions - Please notify us if you have any medical conditions, recent surgery, recent broken or fractured bones. We discuss and review any conditions you may have and take them into consideration for your safety. We may ask or you may wish to consult your medical doctor to discuss any concerns you may have, they know best. If you are pregnant we will be unable to take you aloft. You are welcome to come along with the chase crew if you are unable to fly and take photographs.

Reservations are on a first come first serve basis. If you have a specific date you would like to fly, please call early so that we may get you on the schedule. We require a credit card or a 50% deposit to hold your reservation. Don't hesitate to call last minute as we do get cancellations and/or space may be available.
Should you need to cancel or postpone your flight please be kind enough to call at least 48 hours prior to your flight or sooner if possible. Cancellations or no shows without notification will be charged half the cost of their original package to cover expense and crew. We make every effort to work with everyone's schedule, please call.

Dress casually for the day. The temperatures at the altitudes we fly at are generally the same as the surface temperatures. Long pants and sneakers or hiking shoes are recommended. Tall grass and morning dew is common. A change of shoes for after your flight may be a good idea on those days that we have a heavy dew.

Don't forget the camera. We recommend a camera with a neck strap or a wrist strap for safety reasons. We will be happy to take any photos for you. We will also take digital photos at launch, landing and during brunch. We will share these with you.

We select Meeting Places based on the wind direction for the day. Please call the day before so that we may select an appropriate meeting place and verify the weather will be good for your flight.

President / Chief Pilot - Patrick Schmitt

Pat is originally from Brockport, New York, a small college town in Upstate New York. He has always had a love of aviation and attempted his first flight at an early age on the back of the neighbors peacock. Although this did not work out, he didn't quit. He began flying ultra-light aircraft with the purchase of his first Powered Parachute. After several hundred hours of flight time he received his flight instructor rating in ultra-light aircraft. His love of aviation soon expanded into other aircraft as well. He has since achieved his Helicopter Rating and his Lighter than Air Commercial Rating. Pat attends Balloon Festivals all over the United States and has flown over the Historic YO Ranch in Mountain Home, Texas. He is especially fond of Hot Air Ballooning because of its simplistic form of flight. As Pat puts it, "Its old fashion seat of the pants flying with modern technology and safety."
